Abstract:Changzhuang ilmenite deposits in Yishui county often occurred in fine-grained titanium bearing magnetite pyroxene hornblende rock. This rock is not only ore-forming country rocks, but also ore-bearing rocks. The length of ore body is 800m, the average width is 75m, controlling oblique depth is 344m, average grade of TiO2 is 8.85%, quality coefficient of variation is 104%, average grade of TFe+TiO2 is 28.24%, and coefficient of variation grade is 102%. It is a deposit with uneven ore grade changes. The deposit has the characteristics of large scale ore bodies, simple form and easy exploitation. Through study on geological characteristics of this deposit, it is regarded that the deposit is a basic magmatic differentiation ilmenite deposit. It was formed in Paleoproterozoic.
